Hey,
If I could go anywhere outside the U.S. I would go to Australia because I've never been there. Another reason would be because my dad grew up mostly there. My grandfather was in the military and the most time my dad spent at a place that he could remember was Australia. I would love to go diving at the Great Barrier Reef. I would also love to see the different animals- Koala bears, Kangaroos, Tasmanian Devil, Platypus. I think the Sydney Opera House would be pretty cool to visit also. The Sydney Aquarium is also supposed to be really good. The beaches there are supposed to be awesome also. I'd also like to see Gold Coast, Queensland. In Gold coast there is alot of shopping, a beach, a theme park, waterfalls, and caves. I think Australia would be a really fun place to go to.
The last two weeks have been fun. Pre-AP biology took a really fun field trip to McKinney State Falls and Barton Springs. It was not only fun but also really informative. There ledd than a month left of school. It feel like this year just flew by. Im glad school is almost over but I'm dreading finals. I dont think they'll be too hard but a two hour test could ruin your semester grade. Which is depressing because you spent 5 months working really hard so you can make a good grade but you could destroy all that effort in 2 hours. Plus we have this really long study guide for biology. but the good part is if you do it correctly you could get 10 extra points on your biology final.

Overpopulation
Hey,
Overpopulation is an area filled with an excessive number of people, straining available resources and facilities. Several areas now a days are overpopulated. China, Japan, and India are some overpopulated places. There are many different reasons these areas are overpopulated. One way to control population increase is to decrease the birth rate. These countries have made laws to decrease the birth rate. One example is the one child policy in China. The policy restricts families to have only one child. Most families wnat males creating an overflow of girls at orphanages and a gender imbalance. I don't really know what I would do. If I had to make a plan I would suggest to use resources more wisely and to use land more effectively.
The last two weeks have been good. Today is my cousin's birthday so were partying all day. We just went to a lunch party and then in a couple of hours we will go to a dinner party. And then at midnight were gonna go see obsessed. I hope its good and the fight scenes don't look incredibly staged.I got all A's on my last report card so I should see something coming my way from my parents. A couple weeks ago I saw I Love You, Man. It was really funny. I also saw 17 again. It was a really cute movie.

Darfur
Hey,
I think the situation in Darfur is the Janjaweed's fault. They did have help from other people too but they were the ones doing the rapes and murders. One of the people that helped them were the Chineese. The Chineese traded guns and machinery for oil. Although the U.S. and U.N. did not give money and weapons to the Janjaweed they didnt do anything to stop the genocide. If they called it genocide they would have to help but if they just called it civil war they wouldnt be obligated.
These past 2 weeks have been fun. My parent rented Face/Off for me. Nicholas Cage and John Travolta are in it. It was really good! We had Friday off and I just hung out and did homework. I went to the movie theater and saw I Love You Man it was really funny! I also saw Adventureland that was really good too.

Time Capsule
Hey,
I didnt know if we were supposed to do time capsule or music. So im gonna do both just to be safe.
I like alot of music. The genres i mostly like are hip hop and sosmetimes rap. Some artists I really like are paramore, the veronicas, lil wayne, eminem, Kanye west, flo rida, lady gaga and a bunch others. I also like some oldies such as, foreigner, michael jackson, survivor, bon jovi, cher, journey, the police, heart, rick springfield. I've never been to a concert but I do spend alot of money on itunes. I find like music alot and enjoy listening to it.
If i could choose one thing from the twenty first century to put in a time capsule I wouldn't know what to put. There are so many creative and interesting things from this time. I guess what i put would kinda depend on how long until the capsule would be opened again. I think i would put a USB key containing a bunch of different songs. Some other things i might put on the USB key are pictures of my friends and I, video footage of some of the best basketball moments, mens and womens, and probably some other stuff. I'm gonna think about this for a while and i bet other stuff will some to me. I'll tell you if i think of anything next time.

They just moved there and i haadn't seen their new houses. Their new houses were really nice and i had a good time. I also rented role models. It was really funny at most parts. In virginia spring break isnt until April. So during the day my cousins were at school and the house was quiet so i got alot of homework done. We were there for 6 days. Spring break was really fun but it felt too short. Schools been good but I cant wait for summer.

Favorite Things
Hey,
I'm interested in alot of things. I really enjoy basketball. I think its really fun and a fun way to exercise. I also really enjoy reading. I think its interesting. The really good books don't take long for me to finish. I also really enjoy hanging out with my friends. I'm not really in any clubs because basketball took all of my time.
Schools been good. My grades have been so much better this semester compared to last semester. I went to the UIL state tournament. It was crazy! There 6 foot 8 girl who could dunk who played for Nimitz. She was AMAZING. She has already signed with Baylor. She dunked during warmup and during the game. She was really good. She was so tall no one could defend her. One of the Pflugerville girls was doing a really good job. The pflugerville girl ended up getting injured though and didnt come back. After that Nimitz broke away and ended up winning.

Love
Hey,
I think it is better to fall in love. I think you will be happier. But i do think people can learn to love. I also think they can be happy but not as happy as those who fall in love. My grandparents had an arranged marriage and learned to love. I know they were nice to each other in the beginning. And overtime I definitely they the learned to love and love each other.
Schools been ok. I ended the 6 weeks with straight A's. I think it has really helped my grade that at the end of school I can stay home and get started on my homework. Classes have been interesting and Ive been learning alot.

Global Warming
Hey,
Global warming is a big topic and concern. People think that because of increased pollution that the ozone layer is being destroyed causing the temperature to increase. I used to think that global warming was happening. After this winter I dont know what to think. It was freezing and then it was in the the 6o's the next day. so it definitely can get cold and then it will also get hot. Global warming is a very controversial topic. I don't know what my school is doing but I do know in California if you drive a prius you can ride in the HOV lane even if its just you. The last two weeks have been good. Sadly basketball season will be over next tuesday. We have had a really great season. Yesterday all the baskteball teams went to hang out at Fuddruckers after the game. It was a lot of fun. At least next week I'll get to go home at 4:15 and start my homework.

Technology
Hey,
I think technology is a big part of our society today. At Anderson other than the cell phone, ipods, and occasional desktop in the room not that much technology is used compared to my old school. There is only one smart board and most teachers use overheads. At my middle school every room had a smart board and there were 3 carts of laptops. Each cart had 22 laptops. Entertainment now a days usually does include at least one piece of technology. At my house I don't know if we would survive without technology. Every one of us has a laptop and there are two desktops. There is also a TV in every room. I don't know if this counts but the internet is huge. What would people do without it? If people have a question their first thought is to go look it up on the internet.
